Christian Inspirational Music:
There is such a wealth of Christian inspirational music around, that everyone can usually find something to suit their taste, something that speaks to them and inspires them. I have found great inspiration in my Gospel mp3 music. There seems to be no need for more inspirational music, so why have I bothered to share my free Gospel cd here?
Music has always been a love of my life. One of my earlier memories are of playing in the garden aged four or five, singing while jumping from rock to rock and looking up to see my mother smiling down - my first 'audience'. Both my parents sang in choirs and I occasionally sang in school choirs or Christmas programmes.
I started singing a lot more in public around age 19 after I became a Christian. The reason I went to Christian functions prior to that was because of the Christian inspirational music, which touched me even before I understood the true meaning of a lot of the words. After finding my faith in Christ, I joined a gospel group and was with them for around15 years. I was encouraged to write by the leaders and wrote the odd song but never with any consistence, though I became aware of how powerful a tool gospel music could be, in the lives of both Christians and non Christians in bringing us closer to God.
About two years ago our pastor made an altar call for those who had a desire to minister through music and I hung at the back of the group that went forward but thought no more about it. I have a keyboard and have taught myself to play basic chords and I would come home after work and practice and somehow the songs developed. Sometimes it was a sermon I had heard, sometimes just a statement someone would make, sometimes the words came first and then the music and sometimes (I'm a sad case), I dream songs, wake up and try to get them down quickly before they vanish. I had my mp3 player with mostly gospel mp3 music on it, and I found a way to transfer my music to a CD and then to my mp3.

My decision to share the music was because I found the songs spoke to, or blessed me at different points in my life, and my hope and prayer is that they will do the same for someone else.
